The Garrison Family

Tara and Rob Garrison, of Fort Washington, were one of Back to Earth Compost Crew's very first customers. They have been composting for three years. The Garrisons are a busy family with three children,  Kyla (12), Trey (10), Drew (8) and a pet hamster. Tara and Rob have busy careers as realtors and are very in touch with the community.

Composting with Back to Earth Compost Crew is not Tara’s first experience.  Her mom composted in their backyard when Tara was growing up. Tara’s interest in composting was rekindled when she attended a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting and received instruction on how to compost in a bucket with worms. With young children and a busy career, Tara did not have the time to begin composting on her own. Of course, life just got busier with the kids’ activities, including travel sports. When she learned of Back to Earth Compost Crew’s mission from Owner and Founder Colleen Falicki during a Masters Network event, she found the perfect way for her family to compost.

In addition to composting, the Garrisons strive to live sustainably by recycling and by picking up local farm shares every week from the Pennypack CSA.

Tara finds composting with Back to Earth Compost Crew easy and affordable and finds the crew to be super friendly. Tara says “This service makes it easy to have a positive impact on the Earth.” She often shares her experience with Back to Earth with her clients. Tara connects with the community and families and recommends curbside compost pick-up and thinks it is a great way for young families to do their part in caring for our environment.

Back to Earth Compost Crew is happy to have The Garrison Family in our composting community!
