Meet the Composter: The Yevmenova Family

The Yevmenova Family

Katie and Vlad Yevmenova live in Blue Bell with 13-year-old daughter Anastasia and 11-year-old son Aleksei.  The Yevmenova Family loves being outside, hiking and exploring.

They have been composting with Back to Earth Compost Crew for three years and it is the family’s first experience with composting. Katie cooks a lot and the family eats lots of veggies. They found it heartbreaking to throw all the scraps into the trash. They are happy to know that their composted food scraps have a purpose and are pleased with the ease of composting with Back to Earth Compost Crew.

The Yevmenova's implement sustainable practices in their home.  They try their best to only use items that are reusable. Some of their habits include using cloth towels in the kitchen instead of paper towels, using reusable containers for lunch and snacks and buying in bulk to avoid packaging that cannot be recycled.  The family buys only what they need, they donate used items, and are mindful of their water usage. The Yevmenova's use all natural cleaners and reuse the same containers. And, they shop local whenever possible.

The Yevmenova’s favorite thing about Back to Earth Compost Crew is that it is a local family business doing so much good for the earth—and, that Back to Earth Compost Crew makes is so easy to do a good deed for the environment!

Back to Earth Compost Crew is happy to have The Yevmenova Family in our composting community!
