These items can be composted...if they can fit in your bucket(s):

• Brown paper bags (uncoated and unlaminated)

• Cardboard (ripped up)

• Coffee grounds / paper filters

• Compostable plates

• Corncobs

• Eggshells & paper egg cartons

• Breads & pastries

• Fireplace ashes (cooled)

• Fruits - all parts

• Grass clippings

• Hay and straw

• Leaves

• Paper napkins/paper towels (without cleaning chemicals)

• Pasta

• Pet hair

• Pizza boxes (soiled is fine as long as it's ripped up)

• Pine needles

• Only Shredded Newspaper

• Nut shells

• Rice

• Sawdust

• Tea bags (please remove staples)

• Toothpicks

• Veggies - all parts

• Wood chips

• Yard trimmings (no vines or invasive weeds)

PLEASE NO meat, bones, dairy, produce stickers, rubber bands, twist ties, coated cardboard, junk mail or plastics.

Please note: we cannot take any plastic-y items, like bio bags—although they are marked compostable.
